Cabin Location
Our home is located in the High Desert of Southwestern Utah, bordering on the East Rim of Zion National Park; approximately 6,500 feet above sea level. (See below to view maps of the area.)
With many adventures right at the cabin's doorstep and the amazing places nearby, you will wish you had more time! If hiking, canyoneering, mountain biking, sightseeing, and/or ATV exploration is part of your itinerary, our location will give you the perfect home base to explore the following locations:

Our cabin is within walking distance of the Zion National Park East Rim Trail network, which offers world-class hiking experiences. Walk right from the driveway to Cable Mountain, Deer Trap Mountain, or along the East Rim. The East Mesa trailhead for Observation Point is only a couple miles away as well via connecting dirt roads, as are many options for exploring the surrounding roads and ATV trails by mountain bike.
Additionally, the cabin property is part of the award winning 4,000 acre Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort which offers a long list of amenities. While the cabin itself provides a secluded and relaxing stay, just two miles down the road the resort allows you to enjoy activities such as horseback riding, tennis, miniature golf, two-tiered pool and hot tub, a zip line and rock climbing wall for the kids, jeep and ATV tours, and more. Birds of prey, mule deer, foxes, coyotes, wild turkeys, cottontails, hummingbirds, and jack rabbits are a common sight in our backyard. Wildflowers are also abundant throughout the area, and Desert Longhorn Sheep are native residents of Zion NP as well!
From the cabin, drive into Zion National Park from the East Entrance and enjoy the spectacular drive . . . explore the Visitor Center and ride the free shuttle through the main canyon to the Narrows . . . take a dip in the river on a hot summer day . . . experience world renowned rock climbing opportunities and other hikes. The options are endless! After an amazing memory-filled day, spend time relaxing back at the cabin as you watch the stars come out, or enjoy a glass of wine and some dinner on the spacious deck.
