Hiking Overview

The location of our property provides you with the unique opportunity to access many hikes and trail networks directly from the cabin - without having to drive, navigate the challenges of parking, ride the shuttle, or deal with crowds in the main canyon. In addition to the hikes located right around our cabin, there are also many spectacular and memorable hikes to be experienced by exploring the main canyon area. Detailed information (including route descriptions) for each of these hikes is available in the cabin, or upon request.

Please note that many factors can affect trail conditions within Zion NP - there are often temporary trail closures due to rockslide activity and/or necessary maintenance. Check the park website or visit the Ranger Desk for a list of current trail closures and conditions.

Exploring our neighborhood roads

Simply exploring the roads around the cabin is fun and relaxing as well! Keep an eye out for mule deer, turkeys, jackrabbits and other wildlife. If you take a left from the cabin driveway and walk the block counter-clockwise, remember to take a sharp left at the top of the first hill after leaving the cabin. (There are 3 options here; straight, left, or sharp left. The left will make for a much longer walk, bringing you back to Twin Knolls Road. The sharp left will take you to Beaver Road, then Oak Road where you will take another left, then left on South Oak, left on Pine, and back to the cabin. This loop is approximately 2 miles.)
